Love them or loathe them the oversized adult version of babygrows are here to stay. The idea of why anyone would want to wander around the house in a one piece always used to completely baffle me however I recently warmed to the idea and picked myself up a couple of Primark specials. I have to admit that they are super cosy and perfect to snuggle up on the sofa in at night. If you are the kind of person that doesn't take yourself too seriously then the one piece will undoubtedly be for you.

Despite my blog being predominantly full of fashion based posts at the moment I do want to keep it varied and include lots of different types of post, hence why I've recently turned into a mini Nigella to put up some recipe posts. I am a self confessed fashion and beauty geek and I'm quite happy to add food geek to that list too. I cooked up some halloumi burgers the other day and not only did they taste yummy but took less than a few minutes to prepare. If you make a big batch you can store the extras in the freezer and just pop them on a defrost setting in the micro for whenever you get a burger craving.


Recipe

2 x 400g cans chickpeas, drained
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground corriander
2 green chillies, chopped
2 gloves garlic
1/2 bunch spring onions
1/2 small bunch corriander
1 tsp salt flakes
2 tbsp plain flour
1 pack halloumi, diced
 
Put the first 9 ingredients into a food processor and whizz until broken down. Tip into a bowl, mix in the halloumi, and form into 6 burgers. Cook the patties in a little olive oil in a frying pan until golden and crispy on both sides. Serve with a white crusty bun and homemade fries.

all saints shopping

Ever since I attended the Destination Denim launch event at Selfridges a couple of months ago I've been debating what to spend my £100 gift card on at All Saints that came in the goody bag. I had it in mind to wait until the sales after Christmas, but as all girls will know, patience isn't relevant when it comes to clothes shopping. So a couple of days ago I decided to treat myself to a new T-shirt and a scarf to wrap up in given the chilly weather. The order came within a couple of days and as it was by courier I got email updates of when it had been dispatched and what hour of the day to expect the package to arrive.



Apart from my treasured Alexander McQueen skull scarf I'm not really one for splurging when it comes to fashion scarves, unless they are made of a super soft material and are eye catching like the one below. I really love the mix of grungy grey/dusky pink and think it will blend beautifully with most of my outfits. If you feel bad about the thought of spending £65 on a scarf then fear not as the proceeds go to combating human trafficking, a gorgeous scarf and doing your bit for charity, sounds like a good deal to me.



I already have a couple of All Saints T-shirts in my wardrobe due to the fact that not only do they have unusual designs but mainly they fact they are made from 100% cotton making them super comfy and usually are the perfect length to wear with leggings. I'm a big fan of the vintage/grunge style flowers printed onto the tee and think it will be a versatile piece that I can wear casually or style up with some heels and chunky gold jewellery for smarter occasions.
